His other favorite toys in the set are the puppy teething ring and the ball. He likes, plays with, and constantly wants to explore every item in this set. I'm so glad we decided to get these toys!

Fisher-Price Little Superstar Jammin' Band Musical Microphone Review

Fisher-Price Little Superstar Jammin' Band Musical Microphone
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
First of all let me say Fisher Price did a good job on the commercial for this toy alone because my nine month old son stopped playing with his blocks on the floor to clap his hands and "talk" to the T.V when the commercial came on. It was hilarious. When we saw it in the store a few weeks later we let him play around with it a little bit and he was so enthusiastic that we broke down and bought it. I do think it was on the pricy side but he seems to really love it. He interacts with it all on his own. He likes the ball on the guitar the best. He kind of spins it and it plays a guitar "solo".The music is pleasant and not annoying like some baby toys, which seems to me to be standard with Fisher Price baby toys. He hasn't figured out how to use the microphone yet but I'm sure he will as he grows older. He can pull up on it; however I do wish the base were a tad bit studier. Overall, a pretty nice toy for an active baby and I'm pleased with it.

Mind Shapes Review

Mind Shapes
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My 8-month old son really loves the shapes, and he has ever since he got them last Christmas which was six months ago. The pyramid jingles, the ball krinkles, and the cube rattles. He likes the shapes and the sounds. I don't think he cares about images very much. His favorite is the ball. We can always get him to smile by krinkling the ball as we move it back and forth in front of his face.
Unfortunately, both the ball and the cube have begun to come apart at the seams. (The pyramid is still intact.) I believe this started about a month or so ago which was only five months after he got them. The ball coming apart is not as bad as the cube because the cube is coming apart between a picture side and the orange side. Therefore, it leaves little pieces of orange in my son's crib. This is disappointing because my son really loves this toy, and now he can only play with the pyramid. Now, we just have to decide if it's worth buying another set so our son can keep playing with them.

Redbox My Precious Baby Music & Lights Butterfly Review

Redbox My Precious Baby Music and Lights Butterfly
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We have a 25 year old profoundly retarded (and that's a perfectly good word!) son who loves things he can push and get music from. Normally I check to make sure that no matter how often he pushes a button -- and it is often repeatedly -- the tune will continue playing until done. But this little butterfly doesn't. If he pushes it once, the tune plays, and then pushes it again, it stops. At first he threw it down in disgust (it withstood that treatment beautifully) and then picked it up again and tried again. For him, it may well be educational as it may teach him to wait for the song to finish before pushing again. For Chris, that would be a major learning thing. We have a lovely little granddaughter of about a year old, however, who finds it boring already. All you do is push the button and lights and music come on, play, and stop. You push again and the same thing happens again. For Chris, this is great. For our granddaughter, she's already past it at a year.

Discovery Toys HAMMER AWAY Review

Discovery Toys HAMMER AWAY
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This toy was recommended by my daughter's music teacher. My daughter just turned 17 months old and LOVES this toy. She immediately began doing all the things that the instruction booklet said children would soon discover. She plays with it everyday for about 30 minutes at a time. It is a great teaching tool as my daughter counts the balls and we are now learning the colors. She has greatly improved her hand/eye coordination with the hammering. It is a fun toy. My 6 yr old niece came to visit and also loved playing with the toy. It is on my list of "favorite toys" for this age group.

I got this for her when she was 5 months old. She loves the lights and music. She's over 1 year now and still plays with it, carrying it around and tossing it to hear the music. The only downside is that it takes 3 LR44 batteries, which usually cost $2 each. If it used AA or AAA batteries I's give it 5 stars.

'Round the Farm by ALEX Jr. Review

'Round the Farm by ALEX Jr.
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This toy is just OK in my opinion. Our son (11 months) kind of interacts with it. He will give it a roll a few times and then gets bored and moves on to something else without coming back to it. Only a few days after receiving it, (when he was 8 months old) one of the animal sounds stopped playing and since that time another has quit. So, 2 out of the 4 animal sounds no longer work. There are 4 total sounds: cat, dog, pig and frog. The Pig, frog and dog all sound the same. You have to squeeze one of the ears to make it play the sound and the pads you squeeze quit working.
There are better toys out there.

Baby Einstein Melody Makers - World Collection Lion Review

Baby Einstein Melody Makers - World Collection Lion
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this at target on clearance. I paid about $7 for it. My son liked it the moment I showed it to him. I have it hanging from his car seat. He's been able to pull it since 4 months. He tries to put the blue handle in his mouth, which causes it to activate and play the music. He stops to listen to the music. I can usually pull on the toy to get his attention and calm him down for a little bit. My husband and I know all the little melodies by heart now. It went off one time in a cracker barrel lobby and a lady walked by and heard it and thought that they make car seats that play music. They don't have those yet and this is probably why because you can clip this on and voila, a car seat that plays music. I've had this for two months and it is still in good working condition.

Fisher-Price Go Baby Go Crawl and Cruise Musical Jungle Review

Fisher-Price Go Baby Go Crawl and Cruise Musical Jungle
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I run an in-home daycare, and I have just about every Fisher Price, Leap Frog and Hasbro toy available, and this toy is absolutely not worth the money! It would be worth about $25, but not $50! The monkey doesn't do anything but have arms that teeter slightly, and only his left hand drops the balls down a ramp which activates a short music sequence. That's about it. A couple of other things will activate the sound, but it's not very much fun. The hippo and elephant do absolutely nothing. For the money, you should buy the Amazing Animals Spinning Zoo - that is definitely worth the money and the kiddos play with it everyday. Or, for about 1/2 the money, buy the Sit-to-Stand Giraffe. I don't like to give a negative review of anything Fisher Price since I usually am very pleased with their toys, but the kids really don't have any interest in this at all. It's really disappointing.

This jungle of fun includes a rocking croc, an elephant with a ball-drop trunk, and a 360-degree spinning hippo with an appetite for ball-dropping fun. Animals feature fun lights and sounds to reward baby. As baby grows and is ready to stand and cruise, this inviting jungle provides a sturdy place for her to hang on to for support. Once she reaches the top jungle rail, your little explorer can spin the sun mirror, swat the wiggly-jiggly tree frog, flip the click-clack butterfly wings and bat the colorful rollerball with rattle beads. Baby can place the balls into the monkey's hands and watch as the monkey sends them down the spiraling ball shoot, and surprise! The balls will pop out of one of two ball ramps. Features music, lights, songs and sound effects, plus six colored balls. Requires three "AA" batteries, included. Some assembly required. Measures 36"L x 24"W x 22"H.

Fisher-Price Bop & Rock Musical Lion Review

Fisher-Price Bop and Rock Musical Lion
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Let me start by saying that my 8-month-old loves this toy, but as the other reviewer stated, it continually falls over at the slightest touch. Considering that the toy comes with a plastic hammer with which to strike three balls and the rattles the lion holds, it makes for frustrating play (particularly for the adult that must constantly hold the toy to prevent it from toppling over). It seems like the toy was never tested with an actual infant because I discovered the fault within the first few minutes of play. It's disappointing that the "experts" at Fisher-Price would allow this toy to be marketed considering that it does NOT work as intended in the slightest. If my daughter didn't enjoy it so much, it certainly would be returned or in the trash. But as it stands, I'm doomed to balance the toy with one hand, while trying to play with her and help her replace the plastic balls with the other. I would not recommend this toy at all until Fisher-Price sees fit to either make the base heavier or wider to help off-set the imbalance.

Pounding ball play has never been this much fun! A cute lion character joins baby as they play with the 3 included balls and soft plastic hammer. Baby can easily load the balls on top of the holes in the lion's drum and pound them through, getting fun tunes, lights, SFX and surprise roll out action. For added fun baby can bat at the friendly lion and be rewarded with a fun tipping action, tunes, SFX and lights.

Infantino Activity Triangle Review

Infantino Activity Triangle
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We recieved this as a part of a gift box my mom bought at costco's. I didn't think much of it when I saw it but it was bright and colorful.

Also in the package was a blue hippo that had blocks inside it and a plunger to push them out. Frankly speaking my 6 month old (at the time, now 7months) didn't know what to do with it, and it didn't capture his attention.
However wow! This gadget Triangle! My Goodness!! There is so much to look at and do, he is captivated by it. :)
He'll play with one side of the triangle for so long that he forget it has activities on the other sides. So every 10 minutes or so, I'll flip it and he will gurgle with renewed enthusiasm and start playing with the 'new' side!
When my son gets sleepy and lies back on his nursing pillow, often I'll hold it up and turn it back and forth so he can watch the 2 gears race up and down. One of them moves in a zig zag pattern and the other spins, its even fun for me to watch. As a side note, its great exercise for your wrist. It also makes a pleasant sound, when the tiny balls rattle, sounds like your shaking a box of salt, not too loud, perfect for a drowsy baby.
I also like that:
1. It has so many toys on it but is just one piece, so no lost parts or cleanup.
2. No batteries needed.
3. Its not a loud toy, just loud enough.
I highly highly recommend this toy, its really a bargain!
One update:
At 9 months, my child is still crazy about The Triangle. I believe the whole Infantino gift box with both toys was $[...]. And no batteries needed. :)
What a bargain!

my daughter is 6 months old and developmentaly delayed. She has a hard time holding onto a toy and bringing her hands up in front of her body, and with most toys all she can do is look at them. This toy, however, is very light and easy for her to hold and pull up to her mouth to chew on. It makes a nice little clacking sound which she loves and it holds her interest for a lot longer than other toys do.
