Educo Go-Fish-Go Bead Maze Review

Educo Go-Fish-Go Bead Maze
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Although rated for 2 year olds I found that the magnetic wand was too narrow and small and not strong enough to really attach to the little ball inside the maze. It is even hard for adults and was totally frustrating - and not fun - for my 2 1/2 year old.

Plan Toy Miracle Pounding Review

Plan Toy Miracle Pounding
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Okay, so pardon the above pun, but my son has loved the pounder since 6mo of age. We look for quality toys from SAFE companies. Plan Toys provides safe toys free from BPA, phthalates, or lead paint. The balls are stained, not painted, so they won't ever chip! We also look for toys that will grow with our child.
As an infant, he liked to mouth/teeth on the balls and mallet. When he started crawling, he had TONS of fun crawling after the balls on our hardwood floors. They were great crawling incentives. Then, he worked on dumping things out, and now, at 9.5 months, he is working on putting the balls back in. I know the Mallet will eventually double as a hammer for work projects, and someday, it will be great for teaching color sorting/cause and effect and coordination/motor skills. It will be a long time, I think, until he is able to use it for it's intended use. Before they are able to use the mallet to move the balls, the child can press the balls down to make the next one pop up.
It's wonderful! (And the balls fit other Plan ball toys, too.)

As the ball is pounded on with the wooden mallet, a new ball continuously comes up to replace it Great for developing eye-hand coordination.

Playskool Busy Tumble Top Review

Playskool Busy Tumble Top
Average Reviews:

This toy, is one of the main reasons my daughter puts up with tummy time. If she's on her tummy and starts to fuss, I can whip this out and punch the red button a few times and she's hooked. The only problem is, when she's sitting with it on the floor, she can't see the balls popping because they are down by her feet. It's a great tummy/table toy though.

What's all the buzz about? Encourage hands-on exploration with this beehive press-n-spin top that helps develop important motor skills - and provides a fun reward too! When babies press the button, the balls inside the hive tumble, twirl and pop! For hands-on fun, babies can slide and spin the bees on the carry handle, and turn the button for a clicking sound! For toddlers, the convenient carry handle makes it easy to tote the fun along. Age: 6 months +

Schylling Punching Bag & Glove Set Review

Schylling Punching Bag and Glove Set
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This punching bag is very small. There were no size dimensions listed for it, but it said for ages 7 and up so I assumed it was a nice size. I got it in yesterday and it is only about 24 in. long and maybe 8 inches in diameter. (I don't have it in front of me to measure). I was very disappointed as I thought this would be a great gift for my 6 year old. The material it is made of seems durable, but then again it hasn't been played with. I was trying to keep from buying a leather/vinyl bag as they are really too big. I am looking into returning it as I don't see it being big enough for him to play with. I would say it is more for a 3 year old.

Haba Wooden Teether and Rattle: Froggy Review

Haba Wooden Teether and Rattle: Froggy
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Of all the HABA infant toys we have purchased so far, this is my sons favorite! Our 6 month old LOVES laying on his back and sucking on the frogs "arms". He makes the cutest noises while doing so, and even manages to put the frogs head in his mouth. This toy is very cute, durable, and a totally unique toy to most infant (plastic) toys out there.

Playskool Busy Balls Terrific Textures Review

Playskool Busy Balls Terrific Textures
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought the set of balls after realizing my baby was in need of having some Balls to play with, and these received decent reviews. When I received them, I was surprised how cheap they looked (no offense, Playskool). I know if I received these as something to play with, I'd be looking for something else.
But my kid loves 'em. We put it in the exersaucer with him, and he goes for the balls and tends to ignore the exersaucer activities. He especially loves the one that has the pop up from the top. And the other ones are fun to play with him...with.
If the Playskool Busy Balls were a person I was dating, there may not be instant chemistry, but once you get to know them, you get to love them.

Rhino Toys Oball Rattle (Colors May Vary) Review

Rhino Toys Oball Rattle (Colors May Vary)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We love the O-Ball Rattle. We first saw it during a development class we took at a local center. We had to buy one because my son wouldn't let it go. At the time, he was about 8 weeks - and it was the first toy he ever played with. This rattle is great for making noise, is easy to grab onto, and in its ball shape, also rolls like a ball! It's a ball AND a rattle and a grip toy for babies to learn to grab. It also makes a great adult stress toy. We also hook it to the playmat.
