Magic Lights and Sound Ball Review

Magic Lights and Sound Ball
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I got this for her when she was 5 months old. She loves the lights and music. She's over 1 year now and still plays with it, carrying it around and tossing it to hear the music. The only downside is that it takes 3 LR44 batteries, which usually cost $2 each. If it used AA or AAA batteries I's give it 5 stars.

Fisher-Price Go Baby Go Crawl and Cruise Musical Jungle Review

Fisher-Price Go Baby Go Crawl and Cruise Musical Jungle
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I run an in-home daycare, and I have just about every Fisher Price, Leap Frog and Hasbro toy available, and this toy is absolutely not worth the money! It would be worth about $25, but not $50! The monkey doesn't do anything but have arms that teeter slightly, and only his left hand drops the balls down a ramp which activates a short music sequence. That's about it. A couple of other things will activate the sound, but it's not very much fun. The hippo and elephant do absolutely nothing. For the money, you should buy the Amazing Animals Spinning Zoo - that is definitely worth the money and the kiddos play with it everyday. Or, for about 1/2 the money, buy the Sit-to-Stand Giraffe. I don't like to give a negative review of anything Fisher Price since I usually am very pleased with their toys, but the kids really don't have any interest in this at all. It's really disappointing.

This jungle of fun includes a rocking croc, an elephant with a ball-drop trunk, and a 360-degree spinning hippo with an appetite for ball-dropping fun. Animals feature fun lights and sounds to reward baby. As baby grows and is ready to stand and cruise, this inviting jungle provides a sturdy place for her to hang on to for support. Once she reaches the top jungle rail, your little explorer can spin the sun mirror, swat the wiggly-jiggly tree frog, flip the click-clack butterfly wings and bat the colorful rollerball with rattle beads. Baby can place the balls into the monkey's hands and watch as the monkey sends them down the spiraling ball shoot, and surprise! The balls will pop out of one of two ball ramps. Features music, lights, songs and sound effects, plus six colored balls. Requires three "AA" batteries, included. Some assembly required. Measures 36"L x 24"W x 22"H.

It is great for baby age three months and up. My son played with it when he was six months of age and played till he was 18 months. My daughter loves it and played with it sitting, and rolled it when crawling, and pull the toy neck out (as you are spouse to) when she was eighteen to twenty-two months. Great entertaning toy.

Playskool Air-Powered Busy Ball-Tivity Center with Spinning, Stacking and Musical Airtivity Fun Review

Playskool Air-Powered Busy Ball-Tivity Center with Spinning, Stacking and Musical Airtivity Fun
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is my son's favorite toy. It was one of the first toys he learned to play with by himself at 6 months old. The cause and effect of hit the plunger, and watch the balls go around, is great! My son, now at 7 months old, is just beginning to be able to place the alligator, tree, and hippo on the 'air jets' and pass them back and forth between his hands to examine them. He is also starting to examine the balls closer and hit the plunger to hear the additional animal sounds which make him giggle. Major hit! I love the fact that unlike the other air-powered ball toy we own, the balls don't go flying across the living room and get lost--has its own ring to contain the balls as they spin horizontally and don't fly up vertically. Definitely recommend it and I would buy for other children as a gift. Interesting enough that his baby sitters like helping him play with it.

So much to do in this musical "air-tivity" activity center! Tots will have a ball stacking and learning how to "put and take." The center includes three jungle stackers that stack on the table or on each other. Kids will be delighted as they watch each stacker magically come to life when powered by air. The center also houses a swirling ball pool and live "ball-cano" to encourage put-and-take play. A peek-a-boo monkey hiding in the palm tree adds to the jungle surprises and fun. Great for hands-on exploration and discovery. Requires four "D" batteries, not included. Measures 14"L x 18"W x 6.75"H.

Tomy Ball Party Electronic Symphony Tower Review

Tomy Ball Party Electronic Symphony Tower
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this for my 2 year old for Christmas. He liked it until he realized that with very little effort on his part, the tower came tumbling down. After that, that's all he did. It only played 2 songs which really irritated us. I don't see any educational value in watching a ball bounce down stairs. All in all, we were very disappointed.

This toy is amazing, my son recieved it for his first birthday. He is now turning 2 and it is STILL one of this favorite toys. Every kid that enters my house plays with this toy. It is very easy they can even hit it with their hand if the hammer isn't around. I did however wonder how i would clean this once some dirt had built up inside...but i solved that easily...i just ran it under the faucet and it cleaned up great. And this toy has been banged around with no cracks at all!

Also, it falls over too easily and is too top heavy for the cheap legs.

Playskool Explore and Grow Busy Ball Popper Review

Playskool Explore and Grow Busy Ball Popper
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
First for the drawbacks; 1)It is easy to lose the balls if you don't make a point of collecting them after play and keeping them somewhere safe, 2)There is music that plays continuously while it is on, which can be annoying for some, and 3)The play cycle is rather short so you or baby must keep pressing plunger to start it again. This might be a welcome respite for those offended by #2.
BUT: All four of my boys LOVED this toy!!! A favorite, and a toy I always buy or recommend to others. Perfect for a boy or girl. My boys were enthralled by the colorful balls shooting out of the hole and amazed when they almost always went where they were supposed to, which is around the ramp and back into the receptacle. They also LOVED to feel the air blow out of the toy (the air is what pushes the ball up and out of the hole) and would often just press the plunger to feel the air on their faces, hands and in their hair. They quickly learned to start the toy themselves and would be entertained by it longer than they would be by other toys. All of my boys got this toy for their first birthdays (I am a toy manufacturers dream, I sell toys in Mom2Mom sales after on child outgrows them and then end up buying them again for subsequent kids-- can't stand clutter and feel they deserve their own stuff).

Hasbro Playskool Busy Ball Popper Review

Hasbro Playskool Busy Ball Popper
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I must admit that when my mom gave this toy to my 12 month old, I didn't think it would be a hit - boy was I wrong! Both the baby and my 3 1/2 year old think the ball fountain is neat.
With this toy you push the plunger, the music starts and the balls begin popping out of the top, rolling down the shoot and popping out the top again. Sometimes the balls just keep going through the circuit and sometimes they fly out of the toy and roll across the floor. My daughters enjoy it all!
From a parent point, the negatives are that the music is a little annoying and the five balls roll all over and need to be picked up again and again. The positive is that it keeps my little ones engrossed. The 3 1/2 year old can operate it all by herself and the 1 year old can play with it with only a little assistance from me (helping her corral loose balls and pushing the plunger).
We haven't had any trouble with the sturdiness of the balls, but the yellow funnel does get knocked off occasionally. It goes back on easily enough, but disrupts the play temporarily.
Bottom line is that we really like this toy and are happy to have it in our toy collection

Fisher-Price Corn Popper Push Toy Review

Fisher-Price Corn Popper Push Toy
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We purchased this toy for our son when he was learning to walk (at 9 months of age) and now he's 15 months old and still loves it. It's his favorite toy of all. He pushes it, pulls it, bangs the floor with it, chases the cats with it, gives it to me to push while he watches the "popcorn" pop and even this morning he was sliding it on the dome instead of on it's wheels. YES, it is noisy and it's not fun to have in the background while trying to talk on the phone, but it keeps a busy toddler happy! I wouldn't recommend it as a "learning to walk" toy because it's not 100% stable but for someone who is stable already, I'd highly recommend it!

Tiny Love Musical Stack and Ball Chicken Review

Santa brought this to our (at the time) 9 month old daughter for Christmas. Looked like it would be great fun. Not so much. So far she will only play with it if you don't have anything else for her to play with. On the upside, the cats absolutely love the balls. I don't have any problems with it...well made, looks really cute...nice toy...my child just doesn't like it.

My daughter is 11 months old and giggles and squeals in delight with this toy. The one drawback is that she is pulling her self up and when she does that on this toy it falls over. If the toy falls over while it is on then the balls will shoot out at you. It is kind of funny but not really if it hits your kid. This is a hilarious toy and I highly recommend it.

Our family is living in furnished apartment while we transition to a new house. Most of our toys are in storage. He has played with it off and on all day long every day this week. I watch his coordination improve as he figures out how to start the music, etc. It's just wonderful fun!
