(More customer reviews)We were looking all over for this toy. Decided to take a chance and order without seeing it (and no reviews). It is a good quality and size. He recd Orange and green. Played with it for quite awhile now and no tips have broken off, so it is durable. Gets dirty, but easy to wash. Not sure about the educational value, but I can see where the texture would be helpful for some kids in therapy. For my son it is just a toy, but he has a surprising amount of fun goofing around with it.

I always have to have something to fiddle with on my desk at work, and thinking putty works well because I can use it like a stress ball, pull it, smoosh it, etc. The magnetic putty is WEIRD and very cool. It comes with this super strong magnet that fully absorbs into the putty after about a minute. You can also use the magnet to pull strands of the putty out of the greater mass. There's lots you can do with it, and if you're a fan of weird desk toys like I am, you'll love it.

When tipped, the balls bounce and fall through a series of clear, plastic ramps, creating a sound much like falling water. This tube is much higher quality than other toy "rainsticks" and bead tubes I've seen, and a very good value for the price.
The noise is loud and long-lasting, and because it does not look "babyish" it can be enjoyed by all ages. Supervision is needed around infants and toddlers - just in case - but the item is well made; it seems very unlikely that a small child would be able to break it open. I've seen mine dropped and banged, with no more damage than a few superficial scratches to the plastic.
For preschoolers, it makes a neat cause and effect toy - something satisfyingly noisy that does not take batteries! There's just something appealing and empowering about making all those shiny little balls flow through the tube!
Some children with special needs - especially children with autistic spectrum tendencies - find this toy truly irresistable. On the other hand, some - especially those with auditory sensitivities - find the noise (and lack of way to stop the noise once the tube is tipped!) to be overwhelming. Consider your kiddos carefully if purchasing for a classroom or family with a member who avoids loud noises.
I've also used this tube in workshops for adults, and in a schoolage summer camp music program, and have found that people just can't keep their hands off this thing! It could even be a good stress relieving desk toy for adults.

And I love visiting different cupcake shops/bakeries, reading cupcake-related blogs, and watching Food Network's "Cupcake Wars" and TLC's "DC Cupcakes" (I would love to meet "Cupcake Wars" host Justin Willman, Sprinkles Cupcakes founder Candace Nelson and Sophie and Katherine from Georgetown Cupcake). Anyways, when I saw these stress cupcakes for sale on Amazon, I had to buy some of them. I gave some to my family and co-workers, and I have one on my office desk and one on my bedroom dresser. These cupcakes are fun to squeeze to relieve stress, and they're great exercise for your hands. My co-workers and family like squeezing these cupcakes. And I think these stress cupcakes would make great gifts not only for co-workers at the workplace, but for people who are hospitalized or who are residents at nursing homes. For those individuals who are stuck in hospital or nursing home beds or for those who have suffered serious health conditions such as stroke, these stress cupcakes could possibly provide a more entertaining alternative and more motivation for hand exercises. Accoutrements, the company that produces this stress cupcake, advises that this toy is for individuals aged three and up. I think that this stress cupcake would be great for children over the age of three because children can build their hand strength by using these cupcakes. When I entertain kids and teach/instruct kids on how to use various products and items, I have noticed how it's hard for some kids to grip and squeeze things. So for those over the age of three, this stress cupcake would provide a fun tool to strengthen the hands. Anyways, this is a cute and unique product, and I never dreamt that there would be a stress cupcake. I give a big thumbs up to this product!

Shock Ball Shocking Hot Potato Game Review

(More customer reviews)This was my favorite toy - for about ten minutes. I got it out of the packaging, inserted batteries, and let it shock me. I was surprised by the strength of the shock. I reset it and threw it to a friend, and hot potato began. We threw it around and had some great laughs, but then a friend dropped it. I was not concerned at all, because the product description said it was durable and drop resistant due to the rubber surrounding the ball. It was dropped from standing height ONCE and is now completely broken. I tried contacting Amazon twice, and so far I have gotten no reply. I have tried replacing batteries, holding down the power button - everything. Nothing can fix this ball. :( It was a blast, but was very short lived. I ended up paying a total price of 15-$ and the shipping was prompt, but it is just not worth it for me. 2/5. :(
