The top is a lot of fun while it lasted, but the battery ran down after only a couple of minutes. Surprisingly, there's no way to replace the battery!
This is a shoddy cheap toy, don't bother...

This fun toy is great for Kids of all ages as well as small pets. Wind it up using the Key, Press the button and is spins at high speed while playing a cute musical number. There is one red laser circle projected on the floor as it spins and there are multiple colored LED lights on the top and sides of the top that provide a fantastic light show, especially if you use it in a darkened room. The top measures about 3" high and 2" wide and it's made of plastic. If you search on youtube for laser top you can see a video of this cute item in action. Made in China and recommended for children 3 years and older. My 10 year old thinks this is the coolest thing since sliced bread and my neighbors Dog chases it all over the house. Colors and tunes may vary and the song may be in Chinese. This toy us made of plastic and has fine wiring inside so if it is over wound, dropped or submerged in water, it may stop working correctly.

(More customer reviews)The FyreBall Set (Large) is pretty cool, but very expensive for what you get: three balls and a fuel bottle (fuel can be bought at most hardware stores - slow burn lamp oil works well). The directions included are vague, and most of the prep information was obtained through youtube videos by other users. The coil design does in fact protect the hand from being burned, and the effect of the balls in action within a dimly lit setting is quite impressive.

It includes great informative instruction, slow motion, diagrams, and some punk music. plus the guy is easy on the eyes with a nice voice- that may sound like a stupid point.. but come on... do you really want to be looking at an ugly guy who can't enunciate for 42 minutes?

It has a soft canvas outside and a nice soft inside lining so it won't scratch the ball. It is not flimsy and it appears to be well made. All sewing, lining and eyelets are secure and look great. Good quality pouch. It has a drawstring with a tension sliding lock so the bag will stay closed. Very happy with this purchase. If you are a contact juggler or are starting out in the hobby you won't go wrong with this pouch. You definitely should get one, if you don't make one yourself. (More customer reviews)I was pleasantly surprised by the nice feel of these balls --- they make it easy to juggle, and they don't bounce too much when you let one drop. They might not last forever (looks like 2 rubber pieces which were glued together), but for this price they are quite okay. I only give it 4 stars because the small pamphlet which comes with it doesn't really help to advance juggling skills.

(More customer reviews)First off, not all contact juggling balls are the same. I heard stories of acrylic balls being unbalanced and thus making working with the defective ball extremely tough. So I guess it would depend on which seller you purchase the balls from.
This review is of a black 2.95 inch (76 mm) acrylic ball purchased from ROCK RIDGE SALES, INC.
Scratches and tellmarks: This ball was free from any scratches and tellmarks and was received well-wrapped (first in cellophane, then with a plastic ziplock bag, and finally bubble-wrapping around that).
Balance: I rolled the ball several times on a plate of flat glass and the ball did not wobble in the slightest. The balance is perfect.
Weight: Acrylic itself is heavier than most other CJ ball materials (metal excluded), and this ball's weight is as expected for a ball of this size.
All acrylic balls are susceptible to scratches, marring, and cuts if dropped on a hard surface or banged against a wall. When practicing a new technique, it's best to use a baseball/softball or stageball, or even better, a Sil-X ball. If you wish to practice with the acrylic ball, try to do so over carpeting or on a bed (just make sure the ball won't roll off the bed), and keep low to the ground (eg. practice while kneeling or seated) to reduce the impact of drops.
Overall this ball was received in perfect condition, free of any defects, and performs admirably.
On a side note, this seller also included a two-page instructional sheet with photos explaining how to perform a few rudimentary tricks with the contact juggling ball--which was a thoughtful touch.

Impossiball - The Ball With A Mind Of Its Own Review

(More customer reviews)Got this for my teenage son who has always enjoyed throwing a ball around, thought he'd like the "wackiness" of the trajectory. Well, he didn't like it. Said the only time it's interesting is when you roll it on the floor and he likes to throw or bounce balls, not roll them.
So this ball might be good for a small child who would roll it, rather than an older child who would be throwing it. And a young child might be motivated to figure out why it rolls so funny.
Also I thought it would be more of a "bouncy" ball but half is soft and rubbery while the other half is a hard plastic material....doesn't seem to be made for bouncing.
