(More customer reviews)I bought this toy for my son for Christmas. Playing with it, never misusing it, unfortunately the toy started to break down. Eventually after playing with it for 2 weeks, it fell apart completely. Though I was able to figure out how to place the pieces together, it won't sit snuggly and it is now unusable.
It would be great if there is an opportunity to exchange for another. Unsure how I go about this.
It was shipped as promised and my son was ecstatic to receive it as a present but unfortunately that is the only positive review I can see for this figure.

Halo 3 Series 2 Master Chief Review

(More customer reviews)Upsides: very detailed to the point of having battle damage on the chest, weapon is quite detailed as well, stands easily without assistance
Downsides: doesn't include the shotgun that was pictured on the box, I don't know if this is limited to mine but the rear codpiece armor comes off very easily making the legs fall off, it does take some pushing to get the grenade stored, kinda difficult to pose with the laser, and the helmet & chest pieces do not remove (that I could see, could very well be wrong about that)All in all, this is a good Master Chief. Of course, I only have this and a Combat Elite. I'm happy with him and his detailing.

(More customer reviews)When I took this figure out of the box, I had a feeling i would love it! It comes with a UNSC sniper rifle and 2 plasma grenades.
Pros: Lots of articulation and easy to pose
Sniper rifle is very detailed and has a peg used to store on the back of the spartan
Very shiny :)
Cons: The spartan only comes with 1 peg hole on his right thigh and 2 on the back of his waist which means you can only put one plasma grenade on his thigh and the other on the back of his waist, or put both of them on the back of his waist and have a secondary weapon on his thigh.Overall: I give this figure a 5 out of 5 for being durable and for being the third figure that comes with a UNSC sniper rifle. I highly recommend you buy this figure!!!

Halo 3 Series 1 - Brute Chieftain Review

(More customer reviews)Opened my figure only to have the hammer come out in two pieces. The top half must have broken in transit to the store where I bought him. The figure and hammer were securely fastened in the packaging with tape and twist ties. It is nothing a little glue did not fix but I'm afraid if the hammer takes a fall or dropped it can break again. Figure looks great and well articulated.

(More customer reviews)I got this toy for my 12th birthday and even though it was a few months ago, I still have a lot of fun with it. Right now it is posed by my E.O.D. spartan. It is very detailed, and the duel maulers are awesome. unfortunately, they don't fit into the right hand, which must be molded for pistols etc. A very cool thing it can do is hold the 1999 Darth Vader lightsaber in the right hand. Also, the interchangeable armor is a nice.

(More customer reviews)Be warned there quality control if you call it that is really bad now. I bought a lot of halo 3 series 1 figures 75% of them has defects people will notice. Most of the defects are for the Master Chiefs & Mark VIs. The rest of the line is in top shape. There is also a error in the orange grunt they glued the mask to the head. So do not do what i did break the mask & jaw off trying to get it off. The Green one comes off like it should. 30% of the defects i got are real bad the rest i can deal with. I suggest buying locally so you can actually look for broken hands or limbs. Also keep eyes out for mold defects & sections not painted or wrong paint on them.
Just a side note they are switching all there lines to cardboard packaging no more of the old ones. There goes buying them to collect sealed.

Halo 2009 Wave 3 - Series 6 Spartan Soldier Recon Review

(More customer reviews)I was excited to find this figure for cheap in a store, after seeing it go for $60 plus online. Like one of my fellow reviewers has perviously stated, the figure looked great in the box. When I opened it however, both arms fell off. I was able to loosely put them back on, but if you touch the figure in the wrong way they fall off. That was my first dissapointments of many.
My first dissapointment was the dual magnums. At first I was excited to see these but after close examination I was dissapointed. The magnums both have pegs on the same side, which means you can't put one magnum on each of his legs (well you can but one will be backwards). I was excited to see a second hole added on the left leg to hang accesories from but with the magnums being identical it is rather pointless. Why couldn't they have put removeable and pegs on the magnums? The second major dissapointment with the magnums is their size. While it is possible to put the magnum in the right hand with ease, the left hand is another story. Promotional pictures show that this figure has two identical hands, with trigger fingers exposed. THIS IS FALSE. The hand sculpts are no different from any other spartan figure (trigger hand, and the cradling hand). The magnum can't fit in the left hand properly because the trigger guard is too small for the hands. At best it looks like the figure is loosely gripping the weapon.
On the positive side, once you can find an action pose he won't fall apart in, this is a sharp looking figure. The paint job on mine was a bit lacking but the figure still looks great regardless. The extra hole on the left leg is something that would be great to see on future figures.
In short this figure is not worth the high dollar value charged for it online. I was lucky I found it at a retail store, for retail price, and if it wasn't for that I would have been thoroughly frustrated. I wish I would have kept it packaged. Unless you are die-hard Halo fan who covets this figure as much as the armor in the game, I would be wary to buy this figure.

Halo 3 Series 3 - Elite Combat Soldier Review

This is the one we've all been waiting for - sculpting, details; everything is 100% on.
A couple of specifics to add - While the Elite is more "poseable" than the Arbiter, he's still at about the same level as the Brutes. This means no "crouch jump," or total upper body articulation, but who cares...
Also, the hands are fairly tailored for the enclosed plasma rifles, so certain weapons may prove awkward to hold. I noticed that each rifle's handle is curved to better accommodate its particular hand designation. Remove the pegs, grab a small tool for prying and apply some force. Both of mine proved pretty sturdy for the process.
All in all, a tremendous upgrade in comparison to other brands' Elites, and a sign of continuing quality from MacFarlane. Not a hint of disappointment.

(More customer reviews)I was rather unfortunate to discover that the spartan that I had gotten had a locked elbow. The SMG's are quite fragile, and can can be easily broken, if you try to force it into thier grasp too hard. This guy is highly detailed, just like the rest, but other than his flaws, I can probably get over it.
