(More customer reviews)These are the coolest magnetic balls. They are incredibly strong. One ball can hold the weight of the entire 216 ball set. They are great to pass the time and come up with new patterns.
They are polarized (they have a positive and negative) so manipulating them into shapes can take a gentle hand and patience as you work them to rotate around. The possibility of shapes are endless but having two or more sets can open up new doors. These are small balls, about the size of a BB pellet each.
An additional benefit is the stress relief. They are great for keeping nervous hands busy during a stressful time.
My 6 year old (under supervision) loves them too since they are so easy to manipulate.
They are so much fun in their own quirky way and worth every penny. There is something nice about the way they feel as your hand works them into new shapes.
I would caution that they are easy to lose. We usually remake the cube when we are done to make sure we have all of them. My son has used them for a jump rope, my daughter makes them into lots of little shapes. So we recollect them every time are done or we go on a tiny ball hunt...
These are not for young children because they are very strong (and can be very dangerous) magnets.
