For less than $400 you could get a 15' family size REAL pool; for about $600-$800 you could purchase some gymnastics pads to line it with; and for another $1200 or so you could more than purchase enough balls to fill it. Yes, the balls are by far the most expensive part, and you'd need more than twice as many to fill this 15' pool.
So for less than $2500 you can get a better constructed, MUCH larger ball pit...AND have the option of converting it into a swimming pool if you wanted.

Sesame Street Elmo Ernie Big Bird Ball Pit Playground w/ 175 Balls Review

(More customer reviews)We bought this toy for my daughter's first birthday "Keyword" 1yr old! After a week of having it up the air started escaping from some where slowly. Now it doesn't even last an hour. We tried looking everywhere to see where the air was escaping from but could not find anything wrong. It's definitely not worth buying (especially for the price) we were trying to do something nice for our first born and it was a disaster. Money that we saved just to buy this and it basically went down the toilet in a week. My daughter couldn't even enjoy playing in it. ***ALSO THE 100 EXTRA BALLS*** that are supposedly sent aren't even enough to fill this thing up because they are alot smaller then the original balls that come with it. With all that said, don't waste your money or time. You can probably find something just as nice and cheaper at Wal-Mart or Target.

It was a huge hit with all the kids at the party...ranging in age 18 months to 4 1/2 years. Very good quality construction. The slide was a huge hit. Even my 20 month old was able to climb the wall inside the house and access the slide without problem. The paws are huge so lots of room for balls. We bought one bag of 100 ball and it didn't even fill one of the paws half way. We looked at a lot of different options and I am so glad this is the one we chose this one.

Playhut Lil Explorers Mega land Review

(More customer reviews)The is the newer version of the megaland. It is the same with different colors. The included plastic balls are a little petite, but they are OK at first. I do recommend buying more - they are fun and can be used outside of the megaland for other activities too.
The overall size of this thing is very big. If you have a very large room then you will be OK. If you are trying to set up a fun little addition to your living room - then you might want to consider just the simpler Playhut Magic Ball Zone or the Playhut Crawl N Play. But check to see who is selling them.
Overall these are good toys and when you figure out how to put them away easily - then the size doesn't really matter. So keep this in mind too - You can put up one section or put it all up. It does fold away very nicely and you can put it all back up on a shelf.
My 20 month old loves the ball hut thingy and will just "splash" them all over the place for about 20 minutes. Then she wants me to chase her around it .... so we have fun with it. Highly recommend.

(More customer reviews)We saw this product and thought that out of all the bouncy houses we could get, it was the most affordable, and smallest (since it was going to be indoors) that would also be fun. It WAS fun for our just-turned 4 yr old daughter, she loved it, and loved bouncing in it, and hanging out in it like a little fort. HOWEVER, if you read other reviews you will see this is a huge issue: DURABILITY is ZERO!! We inflated it per the instructions, it sat at room temp for nearly a week before we did. She bounced in it a total of 3 hours in the first week - and by the end of the week, it sprung a leak along the seam. A big gaping hole! So we used the patch they provided... and it looked like it was going to work. But it never stayed inflated after that. We checked the return policy - MAKE SURE YOU DO - it will cost you $25 to ship it back (half the cost of the product to begin with), and it has to be in the original box/packaging (how many people keep original boxes for a month?), and that's provided you can get a hold of someone. No one ever returned our calls or picked up the phone. So we reluctantly bought a second one, since our daughter loves this thing. And guess what? It sprung a leak too!! And she hardly bounced in it at all. This time, we can't find the leak. Both times the thing deflated along the bottom (supporting) rings. The walls and the inner yellow circle are still fine, but the rest is flat. We are VERY disappointed in this product and HIGHLY encourage you to look into another company for something like this. It is a WASTE of money and time. Anyone who has had good luck with this is extremely fortunate. DON'T BUY THIS VERY POORLY DESIGNED PRODUCT!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POLICIES!!!

(More customer reviews)7th month old baby loves it! It is bouncy and he can't hurt himself. A possible smother factor (unless you make it taut, if the baby lies face down, the sides and bottom could block off the airways) so I wouldn't advise using it for sleeping.
It is very portable so we are taking it on vacation. You need an air compressor or someone with strong lungs to blow it up.

(More customer reviews)It was so tough to finally make the call and order this bouncer, but I'm so glad we did. Our 3-, 4-, and 11-year old are loving it. The instructions say maximum age is 10, but it also says the individual weight limit is 100 lbs, which is what we're going on. At 85 lbs, our 11-year old definitely makes more of a "bounce" when she pounds through the catwalk, but at no point has the bouncer seemed overtaxed.
Worried it won't "really" inflate in 2 minutes all by itself? It will.
Will it really deflate in less than 5? Yep.
Will it easily roll back up and fit into the carrying case? Well, yeah, if you follow the instructions, it's not bad at all.
But it weighs 80 pounds, so it is not super-easy to transport. I am a total weakling of a mama, so I have to get my daughter to help me get it into a wheelbarrow, then we wheel it from the garage to the yard. From garage to playtime, I can get it all ready in 15 minutes or less. We have used it twice this week, and would have done so more if not for the weather.
The features are great and keep my kids running and jumping like crazy. The catwalk would be great for some ball pit balls if you like that idea... the bounce area is large and very sturdy. There is a climbing wall that leads to one of the three slides. There is enough room that the three have plenty of playing space, and when our 1-year-old is ready, there will be plenty of room for him to join in. There's room for more than 4, but exceeding that would tax the blower.
All in all this is a great product.

My 23-month-old grandson is very active and loves to play with balls, so this is just perfect for the times when we can't go outside. He was a bit afraid of it at first, but when he finally got over his anxiety, he had a blast in it! He loves going up and down the slides, diving into the balls in the ball pit, throwing the balls around, bouncing on the bouncer, and throwing balls into the basketball hoop. He also loves the pictures of the animals that decorate it, and points to them and says their names. His mom was able to fit into the ball pit with him, and my teenage daughter (who weighs less than 100 lbs.) sat with him in the bouncer section.
This item arrived promptly (in 2 days!) and seems to be well-made and durable. It sets up quickly and easily. The fan noise is not even as loud as my vacuum, and I was happy with that since we will probably use it only indoors. I purchased 350 additional ball pit balls, which was just the right amount for our needs. I can definitely recommend this item for toddlers and preschoolers. Older children would probably need a larger bouncer area if you have more than two of them bouncing at the same time. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my little 14 month old granddaughter through Amazon. It is not a sturdy play tent! It will stand as long as no one plays in it. Try climbing in and out of it and it falls over. The poles you insert to help it stand come out and don't stay in place. It doesn't matter how full of balls this tent is, it still falls over with movement. Too I think they could have chose different numbers to print on the license plate besides TW666. I am normally not a critical person but I must say I would not recommend this item.

Initially he wanted nothing to do with it, but after buying 200 extra balls from Toys R Us (they are the same size as the balls it came with), he LOVES playing in it. Our older sons (8 & 9) will put the balls in the top and our 11 month old will giggle as they go round and round and eventually in to the pit with him. Definitely a must buy for any active child. The 50 balls it comes with are a little flimsy, but the extra balls we bought are MUCH better quality, and not a bad price at all.

This was a great investment!!
The kids LOVED it (ages 3 and 8); it is quite safe and big enough for about 3 kids; and the motor is fairly quiet. It set up very easily and quickly.
The thing that really impressed us was how well made it is. Very high quality materials; a patch kit included. Just a well put-together toy.
I anticipate getting a lot of use out of this!

(More customer reviews)I purchased this for my son for his second Christmas. While a little young, I already knew going into this what I was going to get. He tends to lean on the walls, knocking over the piece, and the air mattress included only aids this. Remove the air mattress beneath, and the structure becomes a bit more stable. Generally, he seems to like it, tossing the balls when he isn't trying to share them with Mommy. There is even a hanging "obstacle course" to toss balls through and drop down that he really enjoys. Setup wasn't too bad. Only 15 minutes, and most of that was reading over the relatively simple instructions and pumping the air mattress which we ended up deflating. My only real disappointment is the size of the balls. The picture makes 50 balls look like a good deal. Then again, he doesn't know what a real ball pit looks like, and it saves me the headache of chasing some 500+ balls across the living room when he shoves them through the ducky game. Overall, the good outweighs the mediocre. A definite recommendation for younger kids. Just be prepared to buy more balls to fill out the fun for slightly older kids.

(More customer reviews)I got this for my son's first birthday and for about a day, he had a wonderful time with it. Then, it started to deflate. At first, slowly, but then it would be completely deflated within an hour. I searched and searched for little holes and tears and repaired two. But, it still kept deflating. I bought it from Target and had found it on the clearance rack for $8. So, I'm not terribly upset. But my kids were sad to see it go into the trash. Now I think I'll invest in one of the more expensive, pop-up ball pits.
