ColorZone Sand Art Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered this set because my 5 year old loves sand art....the bottles are cheaply made plastic. sand is just enough to do the 4 bottles so thats good. one of the bottles doesnt even stand up by itself. 3 stars is what i rate this...michaels or any other craft shop have more durable bottles and more sand than this set.

(More customer reviews)Had played "cage ball volleyball" growing up as a kid, and thought for our outdoor barbeque for about 100 college students it would be a fun game to play.
$150 seemed a lot, but figured we'd get good use from this.
Was surprised when the package arrived that the inner balloon is literally a balloon. I thought it would have been a bit stronger material for a ball of this type. Well we blew it up,, tested it out with three taps. It bumped a branch from a tree and popped.
End of story.
So for the 10 seconds of use we got out of it, it was definitely not worth it.

(More customer reviews)They've been selling these things forever - just repackaged it as a toy so you'll pay crazy amounts for it. You can find them at the $1 or online for a couple bucks at most. In every color under the rainbow. They're sold for plants - you soak them in water, plant your plant in them and the plant's roots absorb the water so you don't have to remember as often. Google "crystal soil balls", "imbibtion balls" or "jelly marbles." If you have any Asian markets near you - I've seen them in almost all of them (Daiso, Mitsuwa, 99 Ranch, Marukai)
You'll also find them in some beginner chemistry sets as "magic crystals." Same thing, different shape.

(More customer reviews)I got this ball as a Christmas present and love it. The ball is nice and tacky, feels almost as good as an indoor composite ball.
For the previous reviewer that could not figure out how to inflate it further, the air valve is not totally sealed, but stopped. You are able to fit a needle past the block and still inflate the ball. I received mine at about 8 PSI which is a little low to my likings. I inflated it to 9 PSI and it feels great now.
