(More customer reviews)I would have probably given this a 4 star review but gave 5 to balance out the ridiculous 1 star review (which I guess they deleted since I wrote this). I really wish they had released this bundle earlier. We have all of the items included in it and they are very good picks from the assortment that is available. Not to mention that you can not get the patches hamster except in the certain bundles. This is worth well over $100. If you count in the the many, many trips of standing in line to get these items one by one (due to the limits and hard to get factor) I could have saved a whole lot of time, energy and money!
Whats in the box:
Two hamsters: Mr squiggles and Patches. Good choices of the 5 available
Funhouse: Mandatory for any hamster accessories or good just on its own. Activates certain noises on the hamster based on which "room" its in
Hamster wheel: It doesn't move as fast as advertised but is nice in that it keeps the hamster in the funhouse setting. Hamster gets on the wheel and off pretty good on its own without getting stuck.
Garage and car: My kid loves this one but you need a little room for the car to run around. It doesn't do well transitioning from hardwood to carpet. Gets stuck on the lip of the carpet
Hamster Ball: Again my kid loves this one (and so do I) but it comes apart easily. Might want to consider super gluing it together
Sleep dome: just what it sounds like. A little pod to go to sleep in.
If you were going to invest in zhu zhu hamsters and the accessories this might be the way to go. I spent over $150 getting the stuff individually for my kids. But I also spent a LOT of time and energy trying to get them at retail. The going price of this right now seems to be about $200 (some even less). Not really all that bad a price... from my experience.

Fisher-Price Stride to Ride Walker Review

(More customer reviews)My daughter was about 5 months old when she got this and she is now 15 months and still plays with this every single day. No toy has ever kept her attention as much as this has. The nose on the front of the walker plays 2 different tunes when pressed and you would think that would get boring, but not for my baby. She loves to put the balls in the basket in the front and when she figured out they came out back that was a real treat for her! Now she sits on the back with the bars together and rides herself around the house. I like that it goes from a walker to a rider. It provides extra long use for the toy! She has also started using it to stand up on like a balance beam, which is pretty scary but she does really well holding on to the front part where the hand bar runs across the top. Just be careful leaving it near the couch or anything like that because it didn't take my daughter long to figure out she can use the ride on the climb up onto the couch.

Rokenbok Conveyor Company Start Set Review

(More customer reviews)My almost five-year old son received this as a Christmas present and has had the greatest time with it. We were a little skeptical about whether it would be easy enough for him since it is very intricate, but he is so good with Legos and Knex that we tried it. Originally we were looking for something more interactive than Legos but less complicated than an Erector set. This fit the need exactly.
It really is fun. Even my husband likes it =) The dump truck works by remote, and it drives around, picks up the balls, and dumps them in the quarry. The quarry is automatically programmed to work the conveyor, which takes the balls up to the yellow slide, one by one, and sends them down the chute... either falling into the storage bins up top or into a big collecting bin on the bottom. The dump truck can then pick up the balls from the bin on the floor or the storage bins in the air, and start all over.
It is pretty neat. For my five-year old, who has never had a remote toy before, he can play with the truck for quite awhile. And a month later, he still brings it out every day. We just keep the apparatus assembled and all he needs to do is slip in the cartridge for the truck, turn on the unit, and it's ready to go.
It is a little more difficult to put together than Legos. Mostly because the pieces need a bit more force and carefulness to snap together. Also the directions are not as clear as Legos' are. It took a couple hours with granddad to assemble just right.
It took him a little while to master the remote... it is actually more like a video game controller, which he had never used, and is pretty sensitive. (Takes two hands, use of rolling thumb technique). It takes some fooling around with, even as an adult, to drive carefully and get the truck to back up just right. But even my two and three year olds can drive the truck straight down the hallway just by pressing the forward button. It is probably ideal for a six or seven year old, or a child experienced with video games already.
That said, it's not a toy for toddlers or hyper young children (at least, not without supervision). It takes some focus and respect. My own five year old once got a Lego light (tiny) stuck in the dump truck insides and we almost ruined it, taking it apart to get the light out. Yet for the most part, it's a very durable toy, and the pieces snap together strongly so you can pick up the apparatus and carry it without splitting apart. But don't let your toddler or pet fool around with the dump truck, sending unit, or cartridges. The little balls are obvious choking hazards (EXACTLY the right size of a baby or dog's throat). And if pieces come off the apparatus, it can be a little tricky to get them back on just right... they require a little more force and finesse than most little boys have.
That said, it's a great buy. Sending unit and remote are sold separately, so it's expensive. And it needs several Double As (6?) and one 9-volt battery. But matching Rokenbok sets can be added without buying extra accessories (unless you want another controller for a second child). So it's tempting to want to invest in your own RokenbokLand =)

(More customer reviews)Pros: Santa brought this to our 2 and 3 year olds and they LOVE IT. It's big enough that they can both be in it bouncing at the same time, although we discourage that since they do run into each other. Put on some Laurie Berkner music and they will bounce for 30 minutes. When nap time comes around, they're ready.
Cons: It's too small for me. We had one hole pop open right along a seam, however the house came with patches. You can also use the same patches you use for bike tires, just visit your local bicycle shop and they'll tell you what works.
Make sure you buy one of the blowers here on Amazon. We bought the Intex Quick Fill Electric Pump. It fills the house quickly and is great to keep around since you have to top if off occasionally. There's no reason to buy the bag of 100 plastic balls. We got them. The kids can't really jump with the balls in there. So they're going in the next garage sale, but the bounce house is here to stay!

My nephews can't wait to come over and play in it. It is very durable and easy to set up. It inflates in seconds. If it ever breaks I would buy another in a heartbeat.
