The set can be put together in minutes and can easily be used inside if you have a room (or entry way) without carpet. Light enough to easily carry outside. Very sturdy, comes with small but 'real' basketball (not foam) that is easy for kids to hold. We're pleased!!

We had it going for about 3 minutes and it busted open and water went everywhere. Total total total waste of money. Granted it was only $5 but I expected it to last more then 3 minutes! Defiantly don't waste your time with this product.

(More customer reviews)I think this sprinkler is appropriate for a 2 year old (the water shoots very low, as does the water that trickles out the sides)...For a 3-4 year old, I think this sprinkler is a little on the young side. In addition, I was annoyed to have to keep moving the sprinkler to sit exactly upright at a 90 degree angle for the balls to pulse thru). It wasn't expensive, but I wouldn't spend it again if I had an older child (3+ years old) to entertain.
