(More customer reviews)While this is a pretty good table, it's not close to the original. The Original men were closer to the opponents men and closer to the floor of the table. This allowed much better catching and control of the ball. This table is a lot of fun, and sounds great when you make a hard goal, but I just don't think we'll be able to replace the original Renee Pierre tables.

(More customer reviews)it took us 3 hrs to build the table. the instruction booklet was not very clear. we had to figure the players out by looking at the actual picture. there are dead spots on all 4 corners.
however, the table looks great and the weight is about right. nice and heavy.

It took a couple of hours to put together and the print for the directions was very small, hard to read. we ended up putting the players on backwards because the directions were not clear but we love to play the game.

Imperial Butcher Block Foosball Table Review

(More customer reviews)This table is super solid, super sturdy, and can take abuse!!! Construction is fairly straight forward (pictures only; no written directions). Here are the only cons: 1) The balls will fly out of the goal opening and onto the ground everytime (I solved this by just putting a cardboard flap in the opening so that the boal will stay in but is still easily retrieved from the outside), 2) the men are not counter-balanced or "weighted" so if the ball hits a rod that your hand is not on, they will swing and kick the ball backwards, 3) the men are plastic (not the hardened rubber men found on old Tournament tables), 4) the playfield is not dull like old tables, but very shiny (however, this does not seem to affect ball control), and 5) the balls in the box are very light-weight plastic and are not that great (Tornado balls do not work on this table - they will "die" after every hit). You can buy a package of 6 tournament-style balls (35mm, texturized) at sears for around $3.00 and they work great. With all this said, let me add that we've had tons of fun with this table. I played alot in college and when my buddies come over we play on this table. While it's slightly different than the butcher-block we had in college, it offers no less excitement. If you are looking for a table that will last and for something to get the family and friends excited about, the Imperial foosball table is awesome. I hope this helps. Chicago Gaming Signature Foosball Coffee Table Review

(More customer reviews)The biggest benefit of this table is simply how great it looks. the inlaid veneers, beveled edges and finish all complete this piece and make it an easy conversation starter. Assembly was relatively simple and straight forward. The Build quality is very satisfactory, solid wood parts, seems very firm after assembly. the rods are telescoping so you do not bash your opponent! that is to say they do not push through to the other side and poke them, very neat and useful on a smaller table.
The Play on this table was not initially as good as i would have liked. the ball could squeak by you on the outside, even with a defender pinned against the wall. and often, the ball could get stuck in a corner and there is little to be done other than to manually move it. I Fixed this problem by shaving the bumpers down which allowed wall play and made getting the ball out of the corner more easily. Be care full not to shave a bumper to far! there is a sweet spot, go no further.
sometimes the foosballs lift up and smack against the glass. This generally happens during wall play, and is why i suspect they had the foosball men constructed far away form the wall to begin with. i simply caution my players not to spin the handles, as any respectable player doesn't partake in that behavior to begin with! if you love spinning handles then this table is perhaps not a great choice. This table sits in my entertainment room alongside other nice wooden accents and furniture, you couldnt ask for a less obnoxious foosball table. Also, It easily shines as a coffee table.

(More customer reviews)Just received the Garlando G-500 yesterday 7:30a.m. after i made the appointment for delivery. They said between 8:00am to 12noon. Very quick shipping-truly impressed on how they do that. Received the Box with all the equipments intact and properly wrapped. Took me about 2 1/2 hours to assemble it on my own. It's pretty straight forward when it comes to installation. The wood matches our floor. Very nice and sturdy and excellent quality built in my opinion. Truly satisfied with this product...plays very well....having fun with it already in just 2 days time. Highly recommended.

(More customer reviews)So far, I think all is well. Have to say, it came in waaaaay to many pieces...and some were missing. I was able to run to the local hardware shop for replacements...but they were silver vs black...ugly, but workable until Carrom sends us some parts. Table solid, but construction could have been more...well...aligned. After the first 30 min of play, we found 2 'dead' spots. We are not entirely judging yet until we are 100% all is balanced well. Looks great...and are SO glad we went for black/green vs. the typical brown. Hopefully after a few more play-times, I will come back and update. I have 4 sons...9/8/6/1...and I am hoping for many years of fun!!

(More customer reviews)had it assembled by a local handyman - took him 3 hours. It is sturdy and a slick looking piece - looks great in the basement playroom. The quality is good and is consistent with the better units seen in restaurants and bars. The bad news is that we also bought the kids a Wii (Dad got out of control in the playroom) and that seems to get all of their attention. To me - the table soccer is a blast, and it definitely gets use at our larger get-togethers.
