(More customer reviews)This is the most innovative, well designed, environmentally/durable made building toy I have seen with an exception to Kapla. The swiss makers have put a lot of thought and energy into this and it shows. I got it for my 4 year old (still a little young for it) for xmas, and I was totally pleased. Unlike other marble runs, which are much less expensive, this one challenges the child with the most possibilities both in the interchangeable nature of the uniform block pieces, but also in that large portions of a run can be in the form of tunnels which are out of sight of the child. All other marble runs have the marble in plain view, which works more like a race track than a puzzle or system which Cuboro excels at. That said, if you are a parent trying to offer marble runs as an alternative to playing with matchbox car tracks--cuboro might disappoint.
This game made me think about the needed changes in schooling put forth by an an expert on learning. Cuboro is all about tinkering:

Crazy Forts Construction Toy 69 Piece Set and Fort Lights Review

(More customer reviews)I bought Crazy Forts for my 4 year old son, who just loves it when I build him forts out our dining room chairs. I purchased this set thinking of all the creative ways we could build new adventures that didn't involve tearing my whole house apart. The individual pieces are incredibly sturdy, but when put together they fall apart very easily. The "balls" in which the sticks are inserted have approx. 16 different orientations possible. Having said this, in order to achieve a angular roof as shown on the box, you must calculate correctly the rotation/position of each ball. My 4 year old of course cannot do this, my 14 year old gave up after about 1/2 hour and then mom stepped in. It took me about a 1/2 hour of rotating those balls to achieve something that looked like a house. It lasted about 5 minutes after my son started playing with it. Basic squares are very easy to build, but again not too creative and the structures fall apart very easily. I spent about 80 dollars on this set and I totally regret this purchase. The concept is great, but execution is incredibly difficult. Save your money and build your forts out of your dining room chairs and the sofa.

Unlike other construction toys, Skyrail is not limited to one or two designs. My son can create endless configurations, including loop-the-loops that really work.
