(More customer reviews)First let me say my cat loves bag's of any kind. The first thing he want's to do when there is a unattended bag is climb in it. I have a cloth shopping bag with carry handles and one of his favorite things is to climb in it and have me carry and swing him around in it. His love for bags motivated me to buy this toy.
This toy consists of a ball a little larger than a baseball that screws open to install 1 AA battery. Inside there is a device that looks like some kind of a gyro that will move the ball when it is turned on. There is a very sturdy 5 by 9 inch plastic bag with a cat tail snapped onto it. There is a seal on the bag that keeps the ball inside when it is turned on. All and all everything seems to be very well made and sturdy.
This thing is a hoot, the bag shakes, rattles and rolls when turned on, plus moves across my tile floor. My cat loves watching it but is cautious about getting to close to it. I can't blame him this thing is weird, a bag with a tail hanging out not just vibrating but shaking and moving all over the floor. You can see him in the video watching it, but definitely keeping his distance.
What I did next is take the ball out of the bag and turned it on. That's when the fun really started. The ball rolled all over the floor fairly rapidly without getting stuck anywhere. Whenever it hit something it would reverse itself similar to one of those Robo Vacuumes. It's to large to go under furniture and get stuck or lost which is what kitty's smaller balls do.
Kitty does not let it get out of his sight, and follows it all over. When it starts heading for him he runs and hides or jump's up on something to get out of its way. The only time he will touch it is when it is turned off. Than he goes up to it and pokes it very cautiously.
This is a fun toy that both my cat and I enjoy.

(More customer reviews)You only get one ball for $2, not the set of 9 (or 7 in other varieties) as shown here. This certainly was extremely misleading. The price was not an issue, but when ordering, I presumed that I was getting a set of bouncy balls as shown. It was just annoying and I felt that it was a misleading product display.

(More customer reviews)I purposely purchased these balls because the balls are a perfect size and the assorted colors are just wonderful.
Do NOT buy these balls. The materials used to make these balls smell like kerosene, taste like kerosene, and after touching the balls your hands will smell like kerosene.
I have washed them with soap, detergent, soaked them in water, lime/lemon juice, baking soda and bleach for extended time periods with no luck.
I have never used these balls so overall rating is zero.

(More customer reviews)I have the original weasel ball and this one works just like it, except it has two weasels instead of one. My cat chases this around and it gets confused about which one to get because there are two of them! I also think that the bright colors of the weasels attract their attention more...though it doesn't look as realistic as the other one. If you like the classic weasel ball, then you should give this one a shot.

You know what I expected? That classic, two tone, matte, slightly rough feeling bouncy ball that bounced higher than Snoop Dogg himself.
What did I get? 12 pieces of crap. Seriously.
These things are not all uniform, half of them have extra rubber around the edges, they are different material, and they don't bounce well at all. Only one, is close to being "OK".
If you want the classic two tone bouncy balls, DON'T GET THESE! If you just need "something", meh, you can get these.
Unfortunate. Life is not what it was supposed to be.
