(More customer reviews)This yo-yo is the one that two of my friends have, and it is pretty good for beginner tricks like the sleeper and around the world. If you are having problems with it coming back, put a dab of vaseline on the axle and it returns to you at a whim and becomes pretty good at looping. But once you start getting into more advanced tricks like string tricks, it doesn't perform so well. It makes weird noises and binds up, especially on tricks that include somersaults.
If you don't own a yo-yo yet, then this is a good one to start out on. So are the Brains. But if you think of yourself as intermediate or pretty good already, then get a ball-bearing yo-yo. They spin much longer and don't bind up on string tricks. If you want me to recommend one, I say one of the Hyperwarp Wings or one of the Raiders, both from Yomega. Most places should sell them for under twenty bucks.
