(More customer reviews)I'm from France where the game of boules is a national pass time. The Glo boules are a lighter weight version of the boules but a lot of fun. I gave them to my nephew as a gift and got to play with all my family this summer in France. It was really cool. They can also blink. They do have 2 draw backs. Two of the boules didn't work well and we had to change the batteries . It takes 3 round flat batteries for each. The game does come with a bunch of extra ones, but once you're out of them it must get expensive to replace. I don't know how long they last. You cannot play on a hard surface such a asphalt or gravel because they will get scratched. We played on grass and on the beach. I do think it's worth buying them. They also make for some cool pictures.
