(More customer reviews)The concept is a great one - a yo yo that will go down and then back up again on it's own. Ideally, the perfect toy for a beginner yo yo-er. But it doesn't work. I've gone through about 10 of these for my boys. They LOVE to yo yo, but are not quite old enough to be able to handle a normal one. Since these yo yo balls are not too expensive, I'll buy them every now and then as a splurge. But EVERY TIME, they break on the first use. The string either gets stuck and doesn't wind back in like it's supposed to, or the string winds back up but not in the right track getting tangled and won't work again. These have never lasted more than 10 minutes - every one of them. They're trash! I've bought my 10th and LAST one!
