(More customer reviews)I purchased several kits to enhance our science program during Vacation Bible School and the kids loved making the chewing gum. It was a pretty sticky activity but the gum easily washed off their hands and face. We limited the activity to 8 to 11 year-olds and they were very enthusiastic about it. The instructions are easy to follow but I would recommend just allowing the kids to roll and knead the gum in the confectioner's sugar and flavoring and making gum balls. The flavor doesn't last long but the fun is in the making of the gum and understanding where gum comes from not in the end product. We used one kit for 6 to 8 children and that gave them each a nice piece of gum at the end.
