Excalibur NF07-08 NFL Vibrating Football Review

Excalibur NF07-08 NFL Vibrating Football
Average Reviews:

Football like the in the old days before video games - for that reason its good. The game now uses batteries and can be played any where - also turns on/off and high/low by each user very easy (duel controls)
The game intends you to use a tiny little football with a flimsy little kicker/passer - this was broken in minutes
Game play gets good after try-outs mark your fastest runners with a pen - play game as touch football without passing there's lots of action when you limit the number of players (6 on 6)
Game is great because of the time not spent playing on the TV learning the different players capabilities and setting up the formations that are needed to score and winning the game (relates to real football)

Ball Pit Hexagon Shape 5 foot x 7 foot Review

Ball Pit Hexagon Shape 5 foot x 7 foot
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
$3000 for a ball pit with balls....that isn't even that big?
For less than $400 you could get a 15' family size REAL pool; for about $600-$800 you could purchase some gymnastics pads to line it with; and for another $1200 or so you could more than purchase enough balls to fill it. Yes, the balls are by far the most expensive part, and you'd need more than twice as many to fill this 15' pool.
So for less than $2500 you can get a better constructed, MUCH larger ball pit...AND have the option of converting it into a swimming pool if you wanted.

Double Cannon Blast Slide Review

Double Cannon Blast Slide

Bought this for a neighborhood party for kids ages 2-10 years old. They LOVED it. We thought they'd only use it for a little while as the water might be too cold for them or they would get bored after a little while but NO! They played on it all day, till dark. We had to move it a few times because the yard got too muddy but they played on and it was sturdy and held up great to about 12 kids and even a few adults. No rips or problems.

Kids Toy Electronic Shuttleball Pinball Machine Review

Kids Toy Electronic Shuttleball Pinball Machine
Average Reviews:

This would be a great little pinball game if the manufacturing quality was better. On ours, the cardboard covering the playfield was warped, deflecting the path of the ball, and sometimes causing the spinning bumper-wheel to get stuck. The LCD display is very cheap and difficult to read.

Star Wars Death Star Model Kit Review

Star Wars Death Star Model Kit
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
To start with, the description of this kit is false. There are NOT 75 pieces... only 11. The detail is VERY, VERY poor... large soft-edged raised blocks with only the vaguest resemblance to the Death Star as seen in the films. You'd honestly be better off starting with a smooth plastic ball & making a Death Star from scratch, rather than buying this kit.

Elec Arcade Review

Elec Arcade
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
First, let me say I am a big fan of K'Nex products. I own and have assembled most of the large sets (i.e. Big Ball Factory, original Roller Coaster Set, etc., etc.) and have always found their instructions to be easy to follow and remarkably accurate. However, this set, while fun and not overly difficult to assemble, was disappointing in the number of 'tweaks' it took to improve the functionality of the pinball game--for example, the lever that shoots the ball neededs minor modification to make it hit the ball better, and the launching chute needed modification to keep the ball from rolling back into the return chute. For a mid-aged child who has prior experience with K'Nex, they shouldn't have any problems figuring out how to make these improvements. For a first time builder, though, it might be frustrating. Also, when playing pinball with 2 players (taking turns) if you don't switch VERY quickly between the players, the game shuts off. It should have a longer delay to allow multiple players to alternate places and get back into the game. That being said, if you can overlook those minor flaws, it is fun to build and seems to be pretty sturdy. There are open holes in the board that allow one to customize the arcade and add various 'obstacles' for the balls to go through.
In sum, this isn't a bad set, but it just doesn't seem to be as well designed as most of the other K'Nex sets. And whatever you do, if you buy this set DON'T pay full price for it. Some places sell it for as much as $99, and my personal opinion (having now constructed it and used it) is that's nearly twice what it's honestly worth.

Ben 10 Alien Laboratory Playset Review

Ben 10 Alien Laboratory Playset

My son (6 yrs old) really was excited to get the lab for Christmas. Not the best toy. This toy needs a lot of adult supervision, it has many little parts. The disc viewer is very blury, we haven't even touched the goop it came with. If your child is a big Ben 10 fan like mine all of that dosen't matter, he thinks it is a cool toy. I don't think it's worth it , but I'm not a 6 year old boy.
